Every year since I was 12 years-old I attended the No Price Tag Conference. Every year I was introduced to new topics such as purity, and the taboo topic for some, sex. These topics were talked about throughly and led to the conclusion of why girls and guys should wait until marriage. As a young girl going though middle & high school I would hear this and always say to myself, "I want to wait." I didn't know that going into college added a whole different perspective to this. Not only is "casual sex" or "hook-up" culture normalized, but it is actually frowned upon if you haven't you haven't done it already. I am grateful for the visuals and the truth the ladies taught me at the conference. |

I have grown up in a Christian home and I have always been told that sex before marriage is not okay. The Bible also says this and I agree, but I didn't realize until attending the No Price Tag Conference that there are a lot of things that are "going too far." I also learned at the conference that dating has a deeper purpose in that it leads to marriage and that it is best to get to know the other person instead of just going from person to person. |
